A complete kit for trying gold panning for the first time, so you don't have to work out what to buy piece by piece. You get a 14-inch gold pan (the moulded ridges, called riffles, trap the heavy gold while you wash the lighter dirt away), a classifier — a mesh sieve that drops over the pan to screen out the big stones first — a snuffer bottle for sucking up the fine gold, glass vials to store your finds, and a 10x magnifying loupe for checking a fleck really is gold. A beginner's quick-start guide is included as a PDF. You'll still need a Miner's Right (the licence that lets you fossick for gold) and a creek where panning is allowed.
